Creating Monthly Sprint Board on Visual Task board for Business Analyst

A Scrum Board is a tool that helps Teams make Sprint Backlog items visible.
The board can take many physical and virtual forms but it performs the same function regardless of how it looks. The board is updated by the Team and shows all items that need to be completed for the current Sprint.

Many teams add categories to their Scrum Boards that fit their workflow. The board is traditionally divided up into three categories: To Do, Work in Progress and Done.
• During Sprint Planning, each User Story in the Sprint Backlog is written as a task on a Post-It note and put in priority order in the To Do column.
• Then during the Sprint, Team Members decide which items they would like to complete. They take the Post-it and move it to the Work In Progress column.
• When they complete the task, they move it to Done.
If the Team is located in the same space, it is best to have a physical Task Board. The board should be located in a central area where people can easily see and access it. In many organizations, the Task Board replaces the water cooler as the place where people gather and chat. This in turn may lead to a more collaborative work space.
How to create sprint board every month:

(This documentation is for July Sprint)
Step 1: Check the sprint planning schedule.

Step 2: Go to service now.

Step 3: Click on Create sprint. When we click, the following window appears.

Now we need to change the sprint name in the short description
We are making sprint for July. So put 02JUL2020   Note: there should not be space in the sprint name
Now note that the planned start date for the July will be the next day of planned end date of last month.

So June sprint end date was 05-21-2020.  Therefore the July start date will be 05-22-2020.
So now click the calendar, select date and click tick mark.

Similarly for the planned end date, we have to check the sprint planning schedule.
Here we note the development end date in July and put as planned end date for July.

Then hit save and exit.

Now we see July sprint is added.

Now go to service nowè Reports- View/Run

Then click on Group shown in the screen shot.

Then click on New Demands (screenshot is missing, need to put that)
Now we get this window.

Now click on there and look for the sprint. But if you don’t find there then click magnifying glass and search.

Now click on the SPNT0010109. Also make sure the group is App Dev Maestro. Then click run

Now right click STATE and select show visual task

Now we see a task board ready

Now click as shown in the screen shot below.

And put the sprint name

Now open one more tab of visual Task board with previous (June) sprint.
Now click on the members and note the name and add the members in the July (new) sprint.

Also by looking in the previous board (June) arrange all the task cards in order by in July board by dragging and placing in order in proper place.
