Building an Daily Case Worker - Setup Toad Automation Script:

Toad Data Point provides an automation utility to easily script database activities

and schedule them using the windows scheduler. In this way database tasks can be automated to save time.

Step 1: Go to Tools and Select Automation

Step 2: Select Run Mode: Production, Test Settings Connection: CTSPROD , Production Settings: CTSPROD

Step 3: Click down arrow and click on Export Wizard.

Step 4: Select Export template and Next, Add Query File and select file location and select first CTSCASAL.sql and Next and output format is Excel and Next, File Destination save as same Folder and name as “ CaseNotAssigned_”  , Worksheet name : ALCAS, Checkbox on overwrite then donot check box on Add Date Next Next . Checkbox click on save template and select on CTSCASAL.txp file. Then Yes Confirm Save as Then Finish. Click on Activity info and Name as Export_ALCAS.

Step 5: Then  Next Step for next .sql file. Click on down arrow below the Export_AlCAS then Import Wizard. And follow same process 

Step 6: Select Export template and Next, Add Query File and select file location and select first CTSCASAL.sql and Next and output format is Excel and Next, File Destination save as same Folder and name as “ CaseNotAssigned_.xlsx”  , Worksheet name : ALCAS, Do not Checkbox on overwrite then check box on Add Date Next Next . Checkbox click on save template and select on CTSCASAL.txp file. Then Yes Confirm Save as Then Finish. Click on Activity info and Name as Export_ALCAS.

Step 7: Email setup

Step i: Click down arrow and select send Email on File Activities

Step ii: In Activity input write my email. And fill the all body part.

Step iii: Save as CaseNotAssigned.tas on same same folder.

Save it.
Connect Database production or test environment And Run in Production or Test environment. It automatic generate excel file and attached it. Then it sends to the email address.
